Jenn McCoy
I started my first event decor business at 18 on LI, NY! I sold that business 8 years later and then I got my masters degree from Columbia University and went into corporate. Once my daughter was in high school, I got the bug for business again and I started The Party Place LI. After 5 years, I decided to make a big move to Southern California and moved the business (now SoCal Event Decor) to Laguna Beach in 2019. I’ve since built a much larger full production facility in Santa Ana where we design, build and fabricate everything with an all female and mother – daughter team!
Hailey McCoy
Hailey grew up surrounded by the event industry and worked at the shop in NY throughout high school. In 2019 she moved cross-country to study film at CSUN. She started working for the business again in 2023, along with starting her own business in 2025 where she makes merchandise and organizes events / screenings for movie and horror lovers! You can find Hailey in the shop painting, on-site installing or taking videos for our social media!
